Infrastructure development and Solutions deployment for the specific purpose to articulate, catalyze, and facilitate the implementation of national ICT policies, strategies and plans.

These major IT infrastructure projects across the country will enable government-to-government (G2G), government-to-citizens (G2C) and government-to-business (G2B) transactions and communications.

The specific project is to study and design a Government Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementation.

The consultant will study and design the Government PKI, develop detailed policies and procedures required for PKI operation, develop detailed Technical requirements for Government PKI. PKI design, Policies, procedures and Technical specification requirements shall conform to international Standards.

The primary objectives of the Government Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) project is to setup a Government Certification Authority (GCA) with the aim of enabling a secure communication and Information access between government to Government (G2G), Government to Citizen (G2C) and Government to Business (G2B). This will ensure the confidentiality (i.e. Authenticity and Identification), Data integrity and Non-Repudiation through the use of encryption and digital signatures.

Requirements:

Holding a bachelor degree/Masters in e-commerce or computer science or other related field with a minimum of 5 years experience implementing PKI projects.
